FROM  VILNA  TO  VIOLINS  OF  HOPE: MUSIC  OF  THE  HOLOCAUST

For Jews trapped in Europe during the Holocaust, music was a means of expressing both anguish and hope.  I will present stories and songs from this period.  We will also learn about the exhibit of restored Holocaust violins, “Violins of Hope,” which is touring the world now.
