Chaye Sarah
Kiddush sponsored by Bill & Amy Snider
We will honor our Jewish community by observing the Sabbath in a short but traditional Shabbat service at 10AM, followed by a special healing service at 11AM. We hope you can join us for all or part of the morning as we come together to support and strengthen each other.
Join Us for a Solidarity Shabbat
Congregations around the country will be lighting Shabbat candles, reading from the Torah and saying prayers of healing and strength as they stand in support of the Tree of Life congregations and the entire Jewish community. When we gather as a minyan, we invite into our presence the memory of those who cannot be with us.
Please join us at Beth Samuel this weekend to comfort, support and strengthen each other as we participate in Solidarity Shabbat. We will be having a family service on Friday evening at 7:30 pm. On Saturday morning, we will observe Shabbat at 10 am with both traditional prayers and special readings and prayers of healing.
We will observe Shabbat not only for our eleven fellow Jews who cannot, but also because we still can.
